Minatogawa Jinja

This famous shrine is dedicated to Masanari Kusunoki, a military commander from the late Kamakura period (1185-1333) to the Nanbokucho period (1392-1333). Kobe City Museum

Designed by Kotaro Sakurai and completed in 1935, the building was converted from the former Kobe Branch Building of the Yokohama Seikin Bank (now Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ). It is a neoclassical building with Doric columns on the front facade, and is considered a masterpiece of early Showa period architecture.

“Kobelin” a rental bicycle, is recommended for exploring Kobe.

Rental bicycles with electric power assists make it easy to get around Kobe, which is about 3 km east to west and has many hills.
Available from 165 yen for the first 60 minutes.
You can rent a bike at the Harborland port and return it at the Sannomiya port.
It is also convenient for touring fashionable select stores and cafes, and for sightseeing in historical buildings.
