As a rule, one receipt is issued per single payment/transaction.
To comply with the Japanese "Invoice System" (tax regulations), we cannot split the room rate for a single room/night into multiple receipts, nor can we issue a receipt for only a portion of the room rate.
However, as shown in the example below, we can issue separate receipts if the payments are divided into separate transactions at the time of settlement.
Example: Plan including breakfast
Night 1: 16,100 yen (tax included)
Night 2: 15,100 yen (tax included)
Parking: 3,000 yen (tax included)
Standard Receipt Total: 34,200 yen (tax included) (Breakdown of items omitted)
(Breakdown: 10% tax-excluded 30,910 yen / Consumption tax 3,090 yen / Accommodation tax 200 yen)
Patterns where separate receipts are possible:(Note: "tax included" notation is omitted below)
1. Separating Room Rate and Parking:
Receipt 1: Night 1 (16,100 yen) + Night 2 (15,100 yen) = 31,200 yen
Receipt 2: Parking = 3,000 yen
For credit card payments, two separate transactions (31,200 yen and 3,000 yen) are required.
2. Separating Night 1 (+ Parking) and Night 2:
(The pattern for Night 1, and Night 2 + Parking is omitted)
Receipt 1: Night 1 (16,100 yen) + Parking (3,000 yen) = 19,100 yen
Receipt 2: Night 2 = 15,100 yen
For credit card payments, two separate transactions (19,100 yen and 15,100 yen) are required.
3. Separating All Items:
Receipt 1: Night 1 = 16,100 yen
Receipt 2: Night 2 = 15,100 yen
Receipt 3: Parking = 3,000 yen
For credit card payments, three separate transactions (16,100 yen, 15,100 yen, and 3,000 yen) are required.
*For reservations involving multiple rooms, a separate receipt can be issued for each room. However, for credit card payments, each room must be paid for in a separate transaction as shown above.
*We cannot issue a receipt for an amount that differs from the actual price (e.g., issuing a receipt for 8,000 yen when the actual rate for Night 1 is 16,100 yen).
