TRADITIONAL JAPANESE INN
DISCOVER RYOKAN
RYOKAN 旅館
Nisshokan Bettei Koyotei prides itself as one of Nagasaki’s major Ryokan establishments.
The roots of the first “Ryokan,” or Japanese-style inns, can be traced back to the early 700s of the Nara Period. Originally known as “Fuseya,” these free-of-charge rest houses were a sanctuary for the weary traveller, a tradition we continue at Nisshokan Bettei Koyotei.
Today, Ryokan has evolved to be more than just a lodging establishment; it has transcended into an over-arching concept of traditional Japanese hospitality, one of which we are proud in practicing.
