  • Membership Registration

    How do I register as a member?
    Please complete the procedure from our official website.
    Register as a New Member
    Internet access will be needed in order to register.
    *Cannot be processed at the hotel or by phone.
    Is there an admission fee or annual fee when I register as a member?
    There is no admission fee or annual fee. The service is free of charge.
    Can I make a reservation without registering as a member?
    Reservations can be made without membership registration. However, no special offers are available for non-member reservations.
    Is there an age limit for membership registration?
    Only those who are 18 years of age or older may register.
    Can one person hold more than one membership?
    Each member may only register for HMI Premium Club once.
    What is the difference between a member and a non-member?
    You do not need to be a member to make reservations, but if you are a registered member and log in before making a reservation, you will receive special rates and privileges that non-members will not have. As a non-member, you will not be required to enter your name, address, etc. when you make your next reservation.
    I did not receive a confirmation email for my registration.
    If you have not received a confirmation e-mail, the main reasons are as follows:
    ① Is the e-mail address you entered correct (capitalization, lower case, typos, etc.)?
    ② Have you set your phone to accept incoming messages?
     The authentication e-mail is sent from the e-mail address “optima@reservation.jp”.
    ③ Has the e-mail been sorted into your spam/junk folder?
    I do not have a smartphone or tablet.
    If you do not have a smartphone or tablet, you can access the membership page by connecting to the Internet from your laptop or personal computer.
    *Please note that if you do not have access to the Internet, you will not be able to register. You cannot register at the hotel or by phone.

    Can I share my membership with family and friends?
    HMI Premium Club is an individual membership system and is available only to the registered member.
    What is a membership rank/tier?
    HMI Premium Club has three membership levels (HMI Member, HMI Gold Member, and HMI Diamond Member) based on amount spent on room night bookings. Each level provides different discounts and benefits, with higher levels offering more perks.
    What do I need to do to upgrade to the next rank?
    You will be upgraded according to your annual spend on room nights. You can check your current usage and membership rank on the “My Page” of the membership page.
    However, for the first year, reservations made after logging into the HMI Premium Club (official launch date: September 3, 2024) will be eligible. The determination will be based on the member’s accommodation/stay history up to December 31, 2024.
    When does my membership rank increase?
    Membership tiers are renewed monthly based on your annual spend on room nights. If you meet the rank-up requirements by the end of each month, your membership level will upgrade on the 1st of the next month.
    However, for the first year, reservations made after logging into the HMI Premium Club (official launch date: September 3, 2024) will be eligible. The determination will be based on the member’s accommodation/stay history up to December 31, 2024.
    Will my rank ever be downgraded?
    If your annual activity does not meet the criteria for your current membership rank, your rank will be downgraded by one level for the following year. *The date of rank downgrade is January 1 of the following year. The accumulation period is January 1 to December 31.
    However, for the first year, reservations made after logging into the HMI Premium Club (official launch date: September 3, 2024) will be eligible. The determination will be based on the member’s accommodation/stay history up to December 31, 2024.
    Does my membership rank have an expiration date?
    Once you move to a higher rank, you will keep that rank for the entire year (January 1 to December 31). If you do not meet the criteria during that time, you will be downgraded the next year. If you spend enough on room nights to meet the same tier's requirements, you will keep your rank for the following year.
    If my membership rank changes during my stay, will my discount rate and benefits change during my stay?
    The membership stage at the time of reservation is applied. If you are staying for consecutive nights, if you move up a tier across months, or if you move up or down a tier during a holiday, the discount rate and benefits will not change from the tier you were at when you made your reservation.
    What are the benefits of membership?
    Membership benefits vary depending on your membership rank. Member benefits include: room discounts, early check-in and late check-out, complimentary room upgrades, 10% discounts for restaurants, and special welcome gifts.

    Are there any discounts for members at the hotels' restaurants, etc.?
    Depending on your membership rank, you may be entitled to a 10% discount for restaurants.
    *If you wish to receive a discount on restaurant services, please inquire at the front desk on the day of your stay.
    Can the early check-in/late check-out benefit be used in conjunction with time-sensitive plans?
    This benefit cannot be used in conjunction with this offer. It is not applicable for reservations made under the Early Check-in Plan or Late Check-out Plan.
    Is there a physical membership card?
    There is no membership card.
    I have a membership card from the former HMI Club. Can I still use it under the new membership system?
    The former HMI Club membership card is no longer applicable.
    If you have a membership card from the former HMI Club, we ask that you discard it and register for the new HMI Premium Club online.
    Can I issue an online receipt?
    The URL for the receipt is included in the reservation completion e-mail. You will be able to issue an online receipt from there.
    Is there a discount for people with disabilities?
    There is no discount for people with disabilities.

    The main reasons for not being able to log in are as follows:
    If the message “Incorrect login email address or password” is displayed -
    Please make sure that there is no distinction between uppercase, lowercase, numbers, etc.

    If you have forgotten your password and the message “Your registered e-mail address is incorrect" is displayed -
    The e-mail address you entered may not match the registered e-mail address, or the e-mail address may not be registered. Please contact the hotel where you made the reservation to confirm your registered information.
